Lansdowne Work Trip - Summer 2005 Potomac Heritage Trail Association and FTAS volunteers helped clear a section of the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail in Lansdowne near Leesburg. The trail runs 3 miles along the Potomac River and Goose Creek. (Note the stonework remains of the historic Patowmack Canal.) Opening ceremony is expected in December 2005.
